Bill and the chicks

This is Bill who owns the apartment where we are renting a room. He has been a great host. It's wonderful to have a native New Yorker (New Yorka), to chat to about this wonderful city.

Today we battled the Halloween shoppers to buy a costume for Gus (can't say which character in case he reads this), we wandered down 5th Avenue, then over to City Quilter..... OMG.... so much fabulous fabric at amazing prices!  So I was happy.

Had dinner at a great little French place, now we're sitting up in bed watching Saturday Night Live eating Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and M&Ms. Yeah, life is good.

    I hope you're bringing all your fabric purchases to our Sit and Sew day on Sunday! And if you have any of those Reece's left...?
