The serves of food here in Vegas (possibly all over US), are HUGE. We are sharing meals, ordering sides only, having salads, they must think we're pretty tight...... but if we ate the mountains of food they served we would literally explode!! One thing we refuse to share is the Creme Brulee at Mon Ami Gabi, 11/10!
Today is our last day in Vegas and I'm not well and we're both pretty buggared so we've chosen to take it easy, we've seen lots of sights, we've shopped until we dropped, we've laughed (alot!), we've played the slots, we've people watched, we've talked and talked to each other and other interesting peeps here in Vegas, it's been fun!
Vegas is massive, seriously massive! We both agree it's great, but it is simply like Surfers Paradise on a triple dose of steroids. Tackarama!!
There are so many kids in the Casino, they are all well behaved and always with their parents, but it seems so weird to see kids at every turn in the gaming areas.
Later today we head out to the airport to fly to New York, with a brief stop over (or lay over as they say over here) in Chicago. We are both so excited about getting to New York, meeting Bill, and seeing the sights of the great city. I'm getting teary thinking about it!
It's about 31 degrees (celsius obviously) here. A dry heat, not like Melbourne heat at all.
xx
